VSC claims are claims made under a Vehicle Service Contract, often called an extended warranty. They typically involve covered mechanical or electrical repairs after a manufacturer's warranty expires. In a dealer-owned reinsurance model, proper VSC claims administration helps verify coverage, review repair documentation, control claim costs, and maintain a positive customer experience while protecting underwriting profits.
