Founder

Tim Byrd founded DealerRE in 1994 in Southeast Virginia and has spent decades helping auto dealers build stronger, more profitable F&I programs through reinsurance. Taylor Byrd

President

Taylor Byrd serves as President of DealerRE and helps dealers understand the opportunities available through opening and operating their own reinsurance company. Before joining the company in 2018, he worked at two local dealerships as both an F&I Manager and Salesman, giving him firsthand understanding of the pressures and opportunities dealers face every day. That background helps him relate closely to clients and recommend reinsurance strategies that fit modern dealership operations. Parker also served in the Army Reserves as a CH-47 mechanic and later became a Crew-Chief on CH-47 helicopters, experience that reflects his discipline and operational focus.
