Taylor Byrd serves as President of DealerRE and helps dealers understand the strategic value of opening and operating their own reinsurance company. Taylor has also appeared on The Independent Dealer Podcast and co-authored a book on building winning customer relationships. Vice President of DealerRE
Parker Byrd brings direct dealership experience to his role as Vice President of DealerRE. Before joining the company in 2018, he worked at two local dealerships as both an F&I Manager and Salesman, giving him firsthand insight into the daily realities of presenting products, structuring deals, and serving modern car buyers. That background helps him relate closely to DealerRE clients and recommend reinsurance strategies that work in real dealership environments. Parker also served in the Army Reserves as a CH-47 mechanic and later as a Crew-Chief, experiences that strengthened his discipline, accountability, and operational mindset. At DealerRE, he helps dealers implement practical programs that improve profitability, support staff performance, and create stronger certified pre-owned and warranty offerings.
Office Manager / Controller
Heather Spruill joined DealerRE in 2013 after earning her MBA and has become a key part of the company's client support and operational consistency. As Office Manager and Controller, she helps ensure the administrative side of DealerRE's programs runs smoothly, from communication and coordination to the financial processes that support long-term client relationships.
