Taylor Byrd

President

Taylor Byrd leads DealerRE as President, bringing unique expertise from his military service and industry leadership. As a frequent speaker at National and State Independent Dealer Association events and guest on The Independent Dealer Podcast, Taylor educates dealers on reinsurance opportunities and profitability strategies. He co-authored "Race To The Finish Line: Creating Winning Relationships With Customers," sharing insights on dealer-customer relationships. Taylor served as a Captain in the South Carolina Army National Guard, applying military leadership principles to guide the DealerRE team toward excellence. His strategic vision focuses on creating positive impact through reinsurance solutions that benefit dealers, their customers, and industry partners. As a disciple of Jesus Christ, Taylor views the great commission as his primary mission, using DealerRE as a vehicle to shine light while delivering exceptional reinsurance services. Parker Byrd

Vice President of DealerRE

Parker Byrd joined DealerRE in 2018, bringing valuable frontline dealership experience from his time as an F&I Manager and Salesman at local dealerships. This hands-on background gives him unique insight into modern dealership operations and the challenges finance teams face daily, allowing him to relate authentically to DealerRE clients. Since 2015, Parker has served in the Army Reserves as a CH-47 helicopter mechanic, advancing to Crew-Chief after completing intensive training. He continues his education pursuing a Business Administration degree while serving his country. Parker's military discipline and dealership expertise create a powerful combination for helping dealers optimize their F&I operations and reinsurance programs. His ability to understand both the technical aspects of reinsurance and the practical realities of selling protection products makes him an invaluable resource for dealership groups. Happily married to his high school sweetheart, Parker resides in Tappahannock, Virginia, where he balances military service, professional excellence, and family life.
